The Healthy Village Foundation (HVF) was founded in 2019 by Six (06) founding members with an objective of pooling both financial and material resources as Charity in order to address the most pressing health, medical and basic care needs to vulnerable, underserved and hard to reach communities.

Successfully mobilized funds to put up a females’ hostel at UIAHMS.

COVID 19’ Relief Food Donation

In the wake of COVID 19, we mobilized over 300 food boxes from the UAE Embassy (Uganda) which we distributed to Patients, staff and casual workers at Mulago Paramedical

To commemorate this day, we extended FREE Healthcare and raised HIV / AIDs awareness to residents.

We extended 100 Meal packs and other basic supplies to Orphaned Children in the Katanga Slum.

Int’l Women’s Day Medical Outreach.

We celebrated this day by offering FREE Healthcare and agitated the need for policy makers to prioritize women’s health

We reached out to victimized kids & vulnerable families of Mayuge through almsgiving.

In partnership with Jesa Farm Dairy, we provided Dairy products, extended hope & motivation to Orphaned Children in the Katanga Slum.

Together with local entertainment groups, we spread love to street kids, teenage girls & youths in Naguru slums through edutainment, awareness on key life aspects among others.

International Day of Charity (Market Visit)

For Community service in commemoration of this day, we cleaned Busega Market and educated the vendors on the need to maintain healthy bodies and environments.

Burundi - Rwanda Voyage

For our Apprenticeship program, we held the first foreign exchange medical study trip to Rwanda and Burundi.
Seven of our Members travelled for a one week fully paid Apprenticeship to learn and have practical experience of how medicine is practiced beyond the Ugandan Boarders.

To develop the Capacity of different Health Professionals, we held a Quiz competition of these professionals together with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council (AHPC)

The second foreign exchange medical study trip under our Apprenticeship Program was held in Nairobi, Kenya together with the Allied Health Professionals’ Council.

30 Health Professionals took part in this.

HVF Dar Es Salaam Expedition.

In preparation of next year’s (2025) Foreign Apprenticeship Training, we travelled to Dar es Salaam and successfully made arrangements with Muhimbili University and Muhimbili International Hospital.
