To end extreme poverty, a focus on children.
Living in extreme poverty has long-lasting effects especially on children.
Each year, we commit to mobilize, support and supervise at least 10 families below the poverty line with 160 USD each to start up and sustain a small enterprise.
This program provides extremely poor households with a pathway out of poverty by helping them engage in a productive and resilient livelihood.
The program gradually builds household capacity and empowers families to become involved with the local economy and community in productive and positive ways.
As these families begin to move out of poverty, their children’s lives improve.
Parents and caregivers gain the dignity of being able to provide nutritious meals and pay for their children’s healthcare and education needs.
