MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAM

To enhance Community Health and Empowerment.

51% of the County’s population have limited access to public healthcare facilities, inadequate resources and shortage of healthcare workers 70% of whom are concentrated in urban areas.

This uneven service discourages such patients from seeking out professional care, especially in rural areas with longer travel times which explains why over 2,000 rural Ugandans will travel as far as 50 miles to attend a weeklong HVF Community Outreach.

Through these Integrated Medical Outreaches and Camps, Radio / TV Health Education talk shows, Vlogs, Blogs, and Podcasts, this program aims to promote health, raise awareness, sensitization and to rally communities to take control of their own health and wellness.
